Over the course of the spring term, students will step behind the camera to create their own original documentary short film, supported by AccessNFTS, the National Film and Television School’s outreach programme. Working in real film roles - from director to presenter - they’ll research, film, and deliver a story about a local hero, historic place, or community event, guided by experienced teachers, filmmakers, and artists. 
 
By the end of term, every student will have a documentary film to be proud of and will have taken significant steps to earning their official Filmmaking Certification, supported by AccessNFTS and the Children’s International Film Festival. The film they make will be screened at festivals and premiered at a special venue for parents and family members.
