The Advanced Stage forms the final stage of the Ciné Acting programme, bringing together the skills developed in the Foundation Stage and applying them within sustained, focused scene work.
At this level, students consolidate their screen acting technique and deepen their work through relationship, continuity, and detailed scene exploration. Training focuses on how performance is shaped and refined across multiple takes and angles, and how actors respond to direction while maintaining truth and consistency within a filmed environment.
Advanced training focuses on:
- Sustained scene work and performance depth
- Building and maintaining relationship with a scene partner
- Scene analysis and character development
- Emotional and narrative continuity
- Adjusting performance across multiple takes and angles
- Working with direction in a filmed environment using professional equipment
The Advanced Stage culminates in a professionally filmed duologue scene, created using industry-standard filming practice and edited for showreel use.
Sessions run over two consecutive Saturdays, each lasting 3.5 hours, held in the morning or afternoon depending on age group.
