A brilliant short documentary film about the fall and rise of vinyl took home the Best School Film Award from the Kingston International Film Festival. Vinyl Revolutions was made by the crew of 14 to 16 year olds who are all members of the Grey Court School Film Academy.
The documentary looks back over the history of recorded music and investigates how changes in music distribution have impacted the sales of many people's favourite way to enjoy music at home.
"We are so proud of the students at Grey Court for their work on this film. Under the guidance of Ciné Schools production managers Effrosyni Kokkori and Duncan Roe, they have created a short that is both captivating and fascinating", said George Young, Founder of Ciné Schools.
You can find the film, Vinyl Revolutions, here in the Film Archive.
