Ciné Studios is designed around one simple idea: the best way to learn filmmaking is to make films.

Rather than spending days sitting in workshops, our filmmakers will be developing ideas, testing techniques, solving problems and creating something together.

They will be encouraged to experiment, take creative risks and discover the area of filmmaking that excites them most.

Whether they want to direct, act, write, design monsters, operate the camera, create sound effects or simply find out what happens behind the scenes of a movie, there will be a place for them on the crew.

Our Halloween Camp is suitable for both experienced Film Academy students and young people stepping onto a film set for the very first time. By the end of the camp, they will not simply have learned how horror films are made. They will have made one.

Places at Ciné Studios are limited so that every young filmmaker can take an active role in the production. This Halloween, don’t just watch a scary movie.
